This sales rep gives false information and assurances about cancellation when it's utterly impossible to do so. Their customer service is of no use at all. I'm now stuck with a 5yr contract. I asked for cancellation and they sent me a total cost of the number of months remaining. How's that an exit fee?

Totally misleading regards their capabilities and services. Be careful, you get nothing like the services they advertise.

"Support" or complete lack of it re an Employment Tribunal. Their principle advice was to settle a claim that would have cost £38,000 because they simply did not have the skills or knowledge to take it on.

Same happened to me. They breached the contract by not delivering the services they promised.

Then they forced me to pay to leave the contract. Utter bullies and cowboy company

Great Service

Always get great service from the HR Advice team. Always happy to help and quick to respond to any questions my staff have.

Avensure staff have helped me create employee handbooks and contracts for all my staff and the whole experience was quick and efficient.

All the staff are highly professional and extremely helpful.

They are available 24/7 which has proven to be invaluable to me at times.

Many thanks to all the staff at Avensure for all the advice they have given to my company, they have taken a lot of the stress away and made life easier. Many thanks to you all i don't know where i would be without you all.

I was surprised to see the negative reviews on this site having been using Avensure for the last 18 months and found them to be extremely useful for someone like myself with little HR or Health and Safety background. Trustpilot, in my opinion seems to give a better reflection with over 100 reviews. I run a small bakery and started employing 2-3 years ago and got to a point when I realised I wasn't complying when one of my staff started questioning their holiday entitlement. A couple of others were refusing to wear suitable clothing which was also a concern. My accountant recommended I check out Avensure along with one or two other companies. Im happy with my choice, but if you are still undecided the only way to be sure is to ask to speak to a couple of existing clients and get an opinion first hand

Avensure's method of selling is disgraceful. Their salesmen are little short of snake-oil salesmen.

High pressure, fear spouting junkies driven by commission NOT customer service. ANYONE even thinking about dealing with them should be very wary indeed and be sure to take independent legal advice BEFORE even thinking about signing a contract with Avensure.

Trust me I know. I was duped and it has cost me thousands...

What a unprofessional company even before you sign up. since the reviews were good i thought things might get better once i sign up.

They didn't and ended up cancelling with them. Nice email from the ops manager see below notice no apology. Good afternoon Nitesh Following on from our conversations today I wish to confirm that the agreement signed 11.12.17 shall be cancelled with immediate effect.

Good initialy

Good in the early stages .. then seriously bad ..

stopped getting replies or very late .. then too late .. all I get on time is there invoices ... my contact ..

after I complained said she would call me monthly to see if I needed help .. never happened .. complained again .. customer services e.mailed me a copy of my contract ..

informing me to keep paying .. as had till 2019 on contract ... nothing more .. shocking ..

my last empoliyment law problem .. couldn't get a reply from Avensure .. as my contact was on sick leave .. fair enough happens ..

no one else to help .. called Acas as needed immediate help ... they were fantastic ... so helpful ..

constant contact.. phone calls .. e. mails ..

problem was solved .. perfect and no charge ..

I vould go on holiday with my family for the fees I'm paying Avensure ... very disappointed ..!!!!

We've experienced really poor support from not only the advice department. But once we complained even poorer from the customer service team. We've been told, if you dont want to use our service thats fine as long as you keep paying. Thats for 5 years by the way and over £10,000 !! read the contracts really carefully before you sign, and if youre not happy, tell them you want to think about it. Their sales guys are professionals of preying on your situation and fears. Dont let them pressure you into a costly mistake I'm not going to have to pay a solicitor to get me our of this mess, shame on you!!

Avensure employ little more than snake oil salesmen who are no doubt very well rewarded for persuading vulnerable small businesses to sign a contract that they know will never be satisfactorily completed in the way that the customer hoped it might.Surely they must be closed down or at least properly investigated by the authorities in the UK.For those looking for advice : Avoid Avensure completely. Sadly for most readers of this review its probably too late already.

So please write to your MP and everyone else you can think off. They seem to first get your details from lists of Employment Tribunals so write to you local Employment Tribunal Office and ask they pay heed to these very slippery characters.

May I ask what solicitor you are using? I also have been duped and pressured into signing something with them ! Thought they where from Acas as it stated acas on there advert to then find out there not

Harassment from Avensure

unfortunately business has had to close due to spiralling cost this was last year.Avensure assisted in closer and fully aware we were told by advisor that we would be ok regarding contract. Several months later we received an invoice we informed them we had closed and received verbal and an email from the advisor it would not effect contract.Well all they have done is harassed us I've even mention away out but they just want the whole contract paying up best part of 10k.The business is shut I'm trying to sell, got no money, wife ill and they have told us there taking us to court has anyone successful defended against these killers go hope of small businesses?

A disgraceful company a complete rip off do not trust. Rep came and and basically scared me into signing up with all sorts of fines I could get.

I rang them up after a week or so to say I do not want to use them as they were not what I thought it was told. They told me I can not get out of it as I signed up, I've not used anything from them at all.

Now they issued mr with court papers. I'll fight them in this.

Looked up ACAS due to a problem with a stylist, got some initial free advice and a representative came to see me. He offered me a comprehensive package, installation of employment procedures. Gave me a shoulder to cry on and then persuaded me to sign a five year service contract. Had the documents provided after a whole lot of meetings. Nothing special and the hairdresser left. Tried to cancel policy was told i can't, spoke with a Lianne who said it was fixed. ACAS didn't know what I was on about and got credit calls chasing me for money. Wrote to address in london, no response. Guy who sold me the policy in a flashy Bmw is no longer there or the lady who gave me initial HR assistance Mary. I am unhappy , where do I go?

Can't believe how we have been treated!

We are a small flower shop in Gloucester, we were called and offered a visit from a Avensure regarding staff contracts etc, a guy comes along and explains how we need this service and was told it was £85 per month and foolishly we signed for 5 years. On receiving the first invoice a couple of days later the cost was £102 per month, the rep had forgot to tell us that the £85 was subject to vat, so we called to say that this was really too much for such a small business, the rep called back and offered us the same deal but with a lower cost of £85 including vat but by this time another member of staff had left taking us down to 4 staff, we told the rep that we felt we did not need this now and he agreed. After calls and emails we thought that it had all been cancelled even tho we had already paid over £200 we cancelled the direct debit. Now we are being told that this contract has no cooling off and cannot be cancelle and are threatening us with debt collectors even tho Avensure has done nothing in the way of work for us. Why on earth are you even contacting small business with under 5 Staff. We have written to Leanne Gleave and got a reply today to threaten us with debt collectors if we do not pay. Your reps should make people aware that there is no cooling off period or that it cannot be cancelled in any way, we certainly would not have signed anything until we had read the small print, now we feel like we are really being done over, and now we need to look at where we go for here.

I would like to retract this review made on 17th February

2016 and I have made weekly requests to Pissed consumer to remove my review. I accept that we did not read the contract fully and therefore We are at fault.

Leanne from Avensure has been really helpful and understanding and our situation has now been resolved.

So plus the VAT was an extra £17 a month, and that was going to break you.

.............repent at leisure as the saying goes. It sounds like the salesman got to you, it's a shame but running a business is partly about knowing what financial decisions to take and knowing where to find law advice.

If you used a solicitor to create and maintain your employment contracts you wouldn't even entertain these monkeys.....

Don't these companies include insurance as well as keep your documents up to date with the changes in the law, have a 24/7 call centre, and cover you for any Tribunal legal costs as well as pay the compensation if you fail? And it costs £85 a month.

Don't get me wrong, money is money, but I know people who had to pay Tribunal costs in the thousands, were stressed out for months, affected their business as they had to spend so much time dealing with the case, and it took its toll on their families with some of them too. So, that or £85 a month to take that away?

I know which one is better if things go t*ts up. It's like taking car insurance and then moaning about it cos you didn't have an accident that year to really get your money's worth out of it.

Avensure – helped me no end with a tribunal to start with and ongoing support is priceless!

They are available when I need them, very helpful, answer all my employment queries and have resolved the matters. Employment law is not straightforward and thank goodness I have them.

Yes its for five years but as my business gets busier I need it.

It started with a tribunal I knew nothing about and they sorted it for me. They took the stress out of the situation and helped me resolve the problems and now keep me on the right side of the law
